This laboratory serves the research, educational, academic and educational needs of the Department of Electronic Engineering in the field of Environmental Studies and Environmental Impact Studies and Strategic Environmental Assessment

In addition, it promotes scientific knowledge in relevant fields such as environmental pollution (air, water and soil pollution), waste treatment and management (gaseous emissions, liquid, solid, toxic and hazardous waste, monitoring of chemical and biochemical processes, in which pollutants in the environment take part, addressing and solving environmental problems through the development of anti-pollution technologies, and others.
