You are now an academic member of one of the largest and most dynamic Universities in our country, and of the only Department of Electronic Engineering.
Our Department was founded in 1981 in the field of public tertiary education and since then it has been educating the best electronic engineers in the country, providing modern, specialized and mainly applied knowledge in matters of electronics, computers, telecommunications, automation, and informatics.
Covering a wide range of scientific and technological fields, we emphasize the complete, multidimensional and in-depth education of our students, to whom we dedicate our best resources. Our graduates have secure professional prospects and note great professional success, being employed in a multitude of high-quality activities in the domestic and international labor market.

Ways of admission to the 5-year undergraduate study program of the Department of Electronic Engineering
Admission to the 5-year undergraduate study program of the Department of Electronic Engineering can be done in 2 ways:
(1) after success in the National Examinations in the 2nd (of Positive and Technological Sciences) or in the 4th (of Economics and Informatics Sciences) Scientific field, or
(2) after entrance examinations for those already holding a degree from any Department of Tertiary Education (information on the 2023 entrance examinations can be found here).
