The Design, Manufacturing and Automation Laboratory (DMA) of the Department of Electronic Engineering (https://dma.hmu.gr/), it resulted from the merge of the previous Laboratories: “Design & of Manufacturing” and “Circuits & Automation Technology”, and is directed by Associate Professor Emmanuel Maravelakis (marvel@hmu.gr).
Its aim is the research, development and promotion of scientific knowledge regarding the following subjects:
- Design techniques
- 3D modeling
- Prosthetic construction
- Documentation of cultural content
- Reverse engineering
- Design and manufacture of medical models
- Processing of stochastic, non-stationary and non-linear signals and systems
- Modeling, estimation and prediction of signals and systems
- IoT systems
- Information systems and automation in agriculture
