Student’s Hour

The Department of Electronic Engineering, on the initiative of its Internal Evaluation Team (OMEA) and within the framework of its student-centered operation, implements a new action of live and direct weekly communication with its students: the “Student’s Hour“.
Every Tuesday for one hour, 12.00-13.00, during both the winter and spring semesters, students of all semesters will be able to come to the amphitheater to be informed, to submit concerns, to ask questions and to get answers.
At the beginning there is always a short 20-30 minute presentation of a (topical or not) subject (of general or special interest), for example, in relation to:

  • the study program and the courses,
  • dealing with difficulties in courses,
  • the professional rights of the Electronic Engineer and their recognition,
  • quality assurance,
  • the internship,
  • the diploma thesis,
  • mobility,
  • the institution of the academic study advisor,
  • complaint management,
  • participation in the evaluation,
  • professional prospects,
  • the prospects after graduation,
  • the research/development activities of the Laboratories and the Faculty Members,
  • and countless other interesting topics.

And then the floor is given to the students to submit their thoughts and to ask anything that concerns them.
On the podium each time will be the President, and/or the Deputy President, and/or the Division Directors, and/or members of OMEA, and/or Laboratory Directors, and/or Faculty/Laboratory Teaching Staff members of the Department, with the intention of listening, answering, giving solutions and solving problems.
